44 Monroe was suppose to go on the auction block on April 15th but a judge has delayed it because three creditors would rather see the project go into chapter 7 bankruptcy. In an auction, their leans will probably be wiped out and they’ll get nothing. RooPho Realty is staying on top of this issue and will post more information as we get it.

Home values down again
Reports are coming out that home values have come down for the 4th straight month. Overall and nationwide, home values have gone down about 1% since September. That’s not too much and everyone reported last summer they probably would go down a percent or two so we’re on schedule. The good part is that interest are still low, at least for today. They are creeping up, ever so slowly, at least for today. There are some good buys out there but you need to be patient and you’ll find one at RooPho Realty. There are a selection of fine Downtown Condos and many at very good prices.
