Downtown Phoenix

Filed under: Phoenix Urban Properties — Chris F Campbell @ 2:41 pm

Have you been wondering what the status is of all the projects in Downtown Phoenix.  With the recession in full swing and some saying it’s almost over, RooPho Realty continues to thrive and sell Urban Condos and Single Family homes.  Why?  Because of the many things that have happened and continue to happen.  University of Arizona continue conversation about a cancer center and ASU has over 7000 students enrolled in classes in the Downtown Campus.  In Novemeber, there was a Greenbuild Expo that had 25,000 addendees.  Along with the Light Rail turning 1 year old at the end of this month, there’s a lot to do in Downtown that just a few years ago you would have never seen.  Also, the residential community is growing more now that prices are so low.  You can get a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom condo with a 2 car garage for as little as $139,000 and it’s located right in the heart of the Roosevelt Row Arts District in Artisan Village.  From Artisan Village you can walk to anywhere downtown and to the Light Rail stop and go Uptown or to Tempe and Mesa.  Another great community is Regency House.  When Regency House was built in 1964 it was “THE” address to have on Central Ave.  It still boast some of the greatest views of Downtown Phoenix and Uptown Phoenix.  Regency House has 23 floors of good size units.  They start in the 1100 square foot range and get bigger.  Some units have been combined from 2 to 1 unit making them even larger.  Currently, units are starting at $200k, that’s a pretty good price even in this economy.

Now is the time to buy and if it’s high rise living you are looking for then look no further.  Regency House on Central Ave has one of the best 10th Floor condos with southern views in the Valley for $175,000.  This condo has been totally remodeled and has views of Downtown, South Mountain and there’s a light rail stop just outside the front door of the building at Encanto and Central Ave.  You can see pictures and details of this condo as well as many fine properties at PhoenixAZUraban.com.
